Action is important in everything we do. Without action, nothing ever really happens. Those who make things happen realize the importance of action. If you take a good look at the men and women who have excelled themselves in any field you’ll notice that these people have a knack for getting things done-action is their watchword.
Action is what separates dreamers from achievers. While the dreamer is caught up in the world of his dreams and endless fantasies, the achiever rolls up his sleeves and throws himself into the fray, his face marred by dust, sweat and blood and doesn't allow himself the luxury of being distracted from his course of his action.
The achiever knows that dreams alone cannot get him to where he desires to be. He must do something radically different. He must combine his dreams with consistent action because it is only action that is consistent with our dreams that can produce steady results. Small, consistent action can often produce significant results.
Everything in life that has great value will not come easy. If you are ever going to succeed and come to the point where success becomes your default, you must be the guy who gives everything you have at every point in time.
If you really mean business, you will be ready to be on your toes for long periods of time and to burn the midnight oil if necessary to give your dreams a chance at survival. Life is tough but that toughness can be shattered by the commitment of those who will show up consistently to give their best efforts.
Giving your best is not an option, it is compulsory if you will stand any chance of greatness and success. It will never come easy; you will have to put in more effort and more hours but at the end of the day, it is more than worth it.
Never give in to mediocrity or succumb to the ease of tradition. The fact that something works doesn’t mean it cannot be better. Make sure that you are open to new ways to do things and that you are daily exploring and innovating for a better life for yourself and others. There is nothing that brings out the best in you like a passion to improve the quality of life.
You will never walk.
You may never talk.
Titus is a very active 6 year old boy, every day he walks to and from the school bus stop with his mom, he loves to play and laugh while he waits for the bus. He will most likely have a fish book or lighting McQueen tagging along to school along with his dory backpack. He absolutely loves to wrestle with me and loves when I squeeze him as tight as I can. He loves music and playing with his sister. He can’t go a day without watching bits and pieces of his favorite movie. You can always tell when his favorite moments are coming up because he gets super excited and starts to giggle and bounce around. If he could spend all day in a bath or pool he would.
When it comes to your dreams, your passion, giving up is not an option. Each obstacle is merely a problem to solve. It’s a problem that allows you to sharpen your skills, gain experience and learn something new. Without problems, without failures, without challenges, you have no way of learning. Are you interested or committed?
Many people in life entertain many possibilities but not really committed to making any of them a reality. This week we’re going explore the topic of commitment to and understand what the difference between interested and committed is.
Happy Monday! Here we are, blessed with a brand new week to go out there and crush our goals. This week, focus on trusting the process. Many times, it’s hard enough to simply get a program of self-improvement off the ground and when you do, things don’t always go according to plan. Setbacks are natural, but we must maintain consistency in the face of them. Reinforce your willpower to establish a system and not deviate.
