NEVER QUIT. NEVER GIVE UP.

May 06, 2018

When it comes to your dreams, your passion, giving up is not an option. Each obstacle is merely a problem to solve. It’s a problem that allows you to sharpen your skills, gain experience and learn something new. Without problems, without failures, without challenges, you have no way of learning. Without learning and growing, you don’t achieve.

It’s not that failing is a bad thing. It’s that society perceives failure as negative. So I challenge you to be Dissident in your perspective of failure. It’s an opportunity to learn and grow an be better, stronger, wiser and a step towards achieving your goals… your dreams!

It’s not always easy to change our perspective. Here are 5 reasons that may help change your thinking about failure and turn it into a step towards winning!

  1. LEARN FROM YOUR MISTAKES

Even if you do fail, you can find new ways of giving it another shot and succeeding.  Quitting leaves you with none. In every attempt, you will make mistakes, but if you keep going - never quit - eventually you will get what you are working towards or discover something better. The moment that you do get it is so important, that the success AND the lessons learned are worth so much more than if you have succeeded the first time.

  1. FIND INNER STRENGTH

It is amazing what you discover about yourself when you have no other choice than to dig deep and find the strength to push through. Anybody who has been through hardships will often tell you that it wasn’t they are necessarily stronger, better, smarter. The had no choice but to pull from their inner strength which is why they are still breathing and still LIVING. They did NOT quit; they found the strength to go on and thrive. You’ll never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have. Don’t settle for  less.

  1. BE DIFFERENT ( BE DISSIDENT) FROM THOSE WHO QUIT

Do you want to be like everybody else? Are you left in the group of quitters who stopped at their first, second or third attempts? Or, do you want to Be Dissident and one of those people who succeeds, No Matter What? Nothing left to say.

  1. BELIEVE IN YOUR DREAMS

Giving up means you give up on yourself. Don’t sell yourself short and don’t let anything or body bring you down. If you can dream it, you can do it. Your journey is your own. You don’t have to accomplish it by any other’s path; choose your own path. Believe in yourself. Believe in your dreams.

  1. INSPIRE OTHERS
Be an inspiration for others. We all learn from each other. We are always watching others. How you act reflect your values and can affect people around you. People don’t relate to your “gold medal” successes. They relate to your failures… and are inspired when you push through them to transform and succeed. Your hard work and commitment to your dream could be the spark that lights the dreams of others.

A particularly frustrating part of struggle is the ability that it has to stop us dead in our tracks IF we allow it. The potential embarrassment of failure freezes us. The possibility for rejection discourages us. The idea of disappointment makes us check out of the game.

Our world today is a convection of deception, constantly the bullshit is on the rise, and the truth, subsurface and disregarded. We must hold true and steady the course through the lies and contradictions. We have to hold the line between our own lives, and the world that tries to breach in.

Gratitude is something we could all benefit from. Gratitude means thankfulness, counting your blessings, noticing simple pleasures, and acknowledging everything that you receive. It means learning to live your life as if everything were a miracle, and being aware on a continuous basis of how much you’ve been given. Gratitude shifts your focus from what your life lacks to the abundance that is already present.
