What made you first get into fitness?
I first got into weightlifting/bodybuilding in college. I had initially signed up for a strength class — and from there, it totally look off. I ended up joining the lacrosse team, leading a co-founding the Strength/Fitness Club — and eventually bodybuilding, where I am today! Bodybuilding has become my lifestyle and devoted 200% to never-ending goals!
What motivates you to show up every day?
My motivation comes from knowing that each day will yield better results from the previous day. Each day, I know that I am one step closer to pursuing those never-ending goals each competitive season that I've set forth for myself. What I've gone through to get myself to that point — that is my daily motivation!
What are your health and fitness goals for the future?
My goal is to ultimately reach Pro IFBB Bodybuilding!
What is your favorite exercise?
My favorite exercise is the leg press — leg day is my favorite!
What made you choose Dissident Gym Wear and how do you relate to the DISSIDENT brand's message?
I chose to be a part of the Dissident team because I personally believe in every one of their core values and meanings — from their mission, to the sayings on their apparel!
What made me relate the most was the fact that I was nearly killed in a car accident. My journey of three years getting back on my feet — that's where I related most to Dissident’s message!
What is your favorite Dissident piece?
My favorite piece is the Dissident gym bag! I'm proud to display my brand anywhere I go — from walking into my gym where I train clients, to walking into the gym as a whole!
What is your proudest fitness achievement?
Personally my largest fitness accomplishment is my bodybuilding career. After my crash, every day for three years I woke up in a hospital bed with injuries I still have to this day. I ended up getting back into training, which ultimately led me back to setting foot on stage again!
What is your advice to anyone seeking to improve their health and fitness lifestyle?
Never shy away from your personal dreams and goals. Each of you has the motivation to set forth your commitments. You can set out to be the top fitness model, CrossFitter or bodybuilder at your show! Believe in yourself!
