Life is not fair. It never gives you what you want or what you deserve, it will only give you what you stubbornly demand for — and that is exactly where you need to be and what you need to do. Sometimes, you just need to come to the point where you decide that giving up is not an option no matter what is going on around you.
One of the worst places to be is at the point of failure and mistakes. This is where you feel the urge to give up the most. You may think to yourself that you have come to your wits' end and you have failed again. Failure is not a prompt to give up, it is just the evidence you need to improve yourself. The best reaction in the face of failure is to rise up, learn your lessons, make amends, and move on. Falling is not the problem, staying down is. If you stay down, then you have failed.
The key is what we do in times of struggle. Struggle and pain will change you. Failure, loss, heartache they don't leave us the same. You can come out bitter or you can come out better. You can come out defeated and give up on your dreams or you can emerge with a new passion, a new fire, excited about the new opportunities. Don't just go through it. Grow through it. Persevere! It's an opportunity to develop character, to gain confidence. The pain isn't there to stop you it's there to develop you
One of the things that separate champions from others is the ability to stay and thrive in the face of controversy. Winners never quit and quitters never win. If you still having quitting as one of your options in life, then you may have to forget about winning. You only win when winning is the only option you have. If you quit, then you have failed.
The teachers of Albert Einstein said he was too dumb to go to school and would never amount to much. The truth is, Einstein suffered because he didn't understand the world as others did and he was different from everyone else he knew. Do not let the opinions of others fuel the option of giving up. If you give up, then you have failed.
Your background can never be an excuse to give up. Michael Jordan sold old clothes, Oprah Winfrey grew through physical and mental abuse, and 50 Cent sold crack cocaine and was shot nine times. Your background does not mean that your back should be on the ground. Get up and get going.
Stop the blame game, it takes you nowhere. You may not be responsible for whatever you are dealing with right now and you may feel let down by the people who should have been there for you, however, if you are reading this right now, that means you are old enough to take responsibility for your life and fight for what you want.
If you want to win, then you have to take your destiny in your hands and give life what it takes to succeed. Life is designed to defeat the weak and one of its greatest strategies is to let you know that you should give up. Once you have made up your mind to never quit, success will follow.
