We all acknowledge that these are challenging times for us all but they also provide an opportunity to move our lives forward in a new way highlighting our opportunities for growth. Now is the time to push pause, and shine the light of awareness on how we’ve been living. What have we been doing that’s working?
What have we been doing that’s not working? These difficult times are giving us the opportunity to look inward, reflect on what truly matters, and connect with ourselves and our loved ones on a deeper level.
This crisis will no doubt cause many difficulties for people, but it will also create many opportunities for others. This is time for people to take more risks, focus on what really matters, and embrace the opportunity to lead. So much has been broadcasted the last month, alot of it negative, that the casual observer could easily believe that things are going to get worse. The question now is this: what are we going to do about it? This is Our Wake-up Call!
If your like us Dissidents you are the dreamers on the planet. We are slightly crazy at times, but that’s what gives us the ability to "go for it" while others sit back thinking, “Things might not work out as planned.” It can all feel like emotional rollercoaster at times. We often experience fear, stress and anxiety. Sometimes we do fail. Not every risk works out. In fact, most fail. There are going to be difficult times throughout our journey, but there will always be opportunities for growth by those who recognize and pursue them.
Opportunity rarely presents itself as a straight line to happiness. It’s more like a nudge in our brain or a hello from a stranger. It might be something we failed at. A new problem. A disappointment. Or feeling so stuck that remaining the same simply isn’t a choice.
Opportunities rarely happen in your comfort zone. If an opportunity were prone to present itself where you are, then you’d already have one. Use your confidence to step outside your comfort zone and engage people and situations that will help get you to where you want to be. By putting yourself out there and meeting people who will support your dream, you’re more likely to create opportunities for yourself.
You might set out with a goal in mind of exactly what you want to do and how you want to do it, but rarely will life work out exactly how you think it will. By not holding anything too tightly, you open yourself up to opportunities that may not have even been on your radar before.
If you step into an opportunity that eventually turns out to be less-than-perfect, you’ll know that it served its purpose of leading you to the next one. Every step in your journey happens for a reason.
When opportunities arise, take advantage of them with confidence.
This crisis will no doubt cause many difficulties for people, but it will also create opportunities for many. This is time for us to look inward, to take more risks, focus on what really matters, and embrace the new opportunities. This week we encourage you to dig deep and find your opportunity!
