No Risk. No Reward. October 7, 2019 05:05
Strength doesn't come from doing what you know you can do, but rather from overcoming the things you once thought you couldn't. Playing it safe your whole life doesn't build strength nor will it allow you to reach your full potential, only stepping out of your comfort zone and taking a risk will get you there. If you aren't willing to risk the unusual then you'll have to settle for ordinary. If you want to get the best out of life, you will have to be ready to spread your wings and fly. When you step out to fulfill your dreams and take a risk, you may just fall and fall hard. But know that if you learn from your failures and preserver you may just succeed more than you ever dreamed!
It's alright to be afraid of failure but it is a cowardly lifestyle to allow your fears to cripple you into doing nothing. You need to get to the point where you want a bigger life so much that you are willing to pay the price which includes the risk of failure.
Come to terms with that fact that when you do take a risk you are likely going to fail, yes that's right, you will most likely fail at your first attempt, and it's OK! In fact, you will meet failure in one form or the other. The only way to success is to keep failing, learn from your failures and approach the task with your new found knowledge.
Its very important to take risks in life if your trying to make a change or level up, without risk human civilization wouldn't have entered the sphere of success we find ourselves in, but its equally important to evaluate your risks, analyze them, try and work the odds in your favor, by hard work, knowledge, a smart approach and analysis. Any fool can take a risk, but the one who gets rewarded is the one who has evaluated his chances well.
Risk taking is instinct based. There are no hard and fast rules about how you can increase your risk-taking levels other than suggesting that you pay more attention to your instincts and you do your homework well. Sometimes you get the feeling that if you go in a particular direction you are going to get better results. When you feel this way, I suggest you that follow your instincts. You may just be right after all.
When it comes to taking risks, there are only two possible outcomes; it is either you are right and you succeed or you are wrong and you learn! Either way, you are better than you used to be before you took that risk. Remember, failure is not an end in itself, except if you accept and treat it as the end of the road.
Safety is a myth. Risk is reality. Fear is the mind killer. Sieze the day. Take the road less traveled. Nothing ventured. Nothing gained. Dare to be different. Take the first step. Have the courage to begin and the courage to continue. You won't regret it.
